Difference between Micro Usb and Type c.

Want to know the difference between the micro usb and the usb type c cable? well you are in a right place today,We are just going to tell you about that. There are mainly 5 differences between both of them.

1)Data Speed

This is the huge difference between them and you already guessed it right that micro usb cable data speed are much slower as compared to usb type c.The micro usb(2.1) supports upto 480Mbps of data speed where as the type c(3.1) cable can go upto 10Gbps of speed. And you can see the difference is huge.

2)Charging speed

Today many phones are comin with fast charging technology such as 30W,65W chargers and to charge the mobile phones they are giving us the Type c cable. So think about that the charging speed of micro usb cable is slow as compared to type c cable. The type c cable can charge the phones for at least with 18W and can also charge the laptops with 100W too.

3)Durability

You noticed that the micro usb cable has a specific connection shape means that you can only put the cable to the connector from one side and because of that over the time the micro usb durability gets lost. But the type c cable has an advantage that you can put the cable from any side or also by flipping the cable,It will work easily.

4)Compatibility

Every device is going for the type c connection or cable because of the above advantages. The ps5 controller also has the type c connection. So everyone is adapting the type c cable for the good. The type c cable also transfers the video and the audio,Therfore ours beloved 3.5mm jack is removed because the one type c connection will do every job. While the Micro usb cannot do it.

5)Price

Well Type c has many advantages as you had read them at above points,But at this point it fails to do that because the price is higher as compared to old micro usb cable. But in my opinion in future when it becomes a standard for everyone the price is go down.

Conclusion

So You guys got it or not tell me in comment section,I'll go for the Type c cable anytime because I had recently seen it's benefits which are superb And I don't want to go back to micro usb cable. So thanks for reading and Stay Safe.
